Character Novel Study

Reflection
 I am learning to relate to the characters in the text to understand their purpose. 
I found it tricky to relate the character trait to me or someone in my family.
I was successful at understanding the characters behaviour.

Persuasive Writing and Speech

My Reflection:
I was learning to write a persuasive speech. I was successful at having four reasons to support my argument. I did each reason in a new paragraph and found facts to support my reasons. I found it tricky to research facts for my reasons. I also could use more persuasive words. When presenting I spoke loud and clear. Next time I could be more fluent.

Time

Reflection
I am learning to tell time this was hard but before i did this activity my teacher helped me and this is just like fractions! Next time this will be easier for me because i learnt lots.

Tapa Art

Reflection

I was learning about Tapa Cloth. I used a shell and flower design.

I used repeated patterns, one third brown dye, one third black vivid and one third plain.

I learnt to take my time and do a good job. I enjoyed scrunching my paper.

Next time i will try and put more effort into my work. 

Fractured Fairy Tale

Reflection I found this tricky to identify what is the same about the fairy tales. This was a fun activity i want to do this again.

Reflection WALT: extend our Olympic vocabulary. I can match a word relating to the Olympics with each letter in the alphabet. I can use a variety of different words relating to the Olympics.I found this interesting.

The Big Hairy Spider

Reflection
I was learning to write about a moment in time using my senses. I found this tricky because my words were always boring but then i got help fro the teacher and she helped me. I want to do it again. It was fun.
